Chicago Protagonista: Chivilli

Labor hands

He moved to Chicago 23 years ago, looking for a better life. He says he remembers the first day he arrived to the city and hasn’t lose any detail of his arrival. He can even smell the fresh coffee in the gas station he stopped in the north side of Chicago.

Although he wants to return to his homeland, he says that it will be difficult to leave the place he’s spent most of his life. The only thing that encourage him to leave: “Chicago’s winter, its weather. I’m 52. I’m too old to live in such a cold weather. I prefer to go to a warmer place. My country is perfect”
